Mr. Kettivit Sittisoontornwong, CEO of LEO Global Logistics, a leading in International freight forwarding and integrated logistics business, announced that the company has signed a memorandum of understanding on business development with Suk-Ruethai Safe Agricultural Community Enterprise, and Canbis Company Limited, with Mr. Krairat Laokasetwit, President of Suk-Ruethai Safe Agricultural Community Enterprise and Mr. Supachai Rujirakitiwakul, Director of Canbis Company Limited, as co-signers at the Montien Riverside Hotel on the previous week. 

 LEO Global Logistics Public Company Limited or LEO is a comprehensive logistics service provider expertised and specialized in Hemp seeds and Cannabis Imports and  commercialized hemp flower as a controlled herb exports for legally licensed entrepreneurs, according to the latest announcement of the Ministry of Public Health on controlled herbs (Cannabis), signed on November 11, 2022.

In response to the government’s legalization of the Cannabis industry, to create careers and stimulate the economy for farmers, LEO Global Logistics has signed a memorandum of understanding to support Suk-Ruethai Safe Agricultural Community Enterprise on July 24, 2022. 

Suk-Ruethai Safe Agricultural Community Enterprise expertises in comprehensive upstream management of Cannabis cultivation, ranging from strains selection, breeding processes, selling seedlings both native to Thailand, such as Sativa Thai Landrace (AKA. Thai Stick) and Sativa L.Tanao Sri, and imported strains, with ten 360-sqm greenhouses, covering a total area of 8 rais (approximately 3.2 hectares) and controlled by the “Smart Agriculture” farming system which can automatically determine and control key factors for Cannabis cultivation, such as temperature, sunlight, electricity, water, soil, moisture and pests. “Super Soil” is also quintessential, derived from good quality soil in Huai Khot District, Uthai Thani province known for its high mineral content for Cannabis cultivation, for high quality yields to be delivered to midstream sector for further processing the raw materials, such as roots, leaves, stems, cores, leaves and flower, supplying to the medical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and health food industries, creating careers and stimulating income for members of Suk-Ruethai Safe Agricultural Community Enterprise.

Canbis Co., Ltd. was established in 2021, located on a total area of 62 rai (approximately 24.80 hectares) in Phop Phra District, Tak Province, with the objective of being a leader in Hemp plantation, with both 19-rai (approximately 7.60 hectares) outdoor farm and three modern EVAPORATION greenhouses during the first phase, covering a total area of 1,512 sqm, including an addition of 1,000 sqm of buildings area. The location is suitable for the cultivation with ideal climate and geography: 300 meters to 1,000 meters above sea level. Loamy soil condition preventing waterlog and no pest infestation are ideal for Hemp cultivation, producing high quality dried hemp flower supplying to the industrial sector for hemp oil extract (CBD: Cannabidiol) production, which can be further processed as an ingredient for dietary supplements and consumer products – food and drink including medical and pharmaceutical industries.
